The interesting thing about this story is that I’m the attorney who evicted them in 2018. Ventura Superior Court Case No.: 56-2018-00508314-CL-UD-VTA (Sawyer v. Smith). They were evicted in May 2018, but paid no rent for several months in early 2018 while the eviction was pending.
This family fought like hell, contesting everything and even taking an appeal. When they were finally removed, they left a horrible mess at the house, which was a tiny 2-bedroom unit. I have no pity for Timothy McGarry, or his ‘wife’ Patricia Cooper. I feel sorry for their five kids, at least one of which was born while they were living in that dilapidated mobile home. Brings to mind the quote from Dostoevsky in The Brothers Karamazov, “pray tell me what have children got to do with it?”
Wow lady you are pathetic. This is my sister who is no longer alive. Although she may have not had a lot of money her children were loved fed and taken care of. You evicted her and her children. And she was a fighter you are right. She fought for what was right and was being forced out all of a sudden because the landlord wanted the place back. And while an eviction process is being appealed is it not the tenants right to withhold rent payments. So what she left a mess, I would too. You are heartless to say you felt no pity for them. I just pray God gives you a more gracious and understanding heart in the future.
Brian, I’m glad to know I’m not the only name you are publicly slandering. Those of us personally listed here on your Evil Brian Nomi Forum… legally it’s slander or defamation?
I’m certain the California State Bar Association has an opinion. ShelliFish
